It takes a Village.
Every day, teachers try to figure out how to purchase classroom supplies they need. We make sure they don’t have to.
Our Impact.
Village has provided classroom supplies across 42 states and 104 schools. These supplies have impacted over 26,718 students.
What teachers have told us.
“Thank you for giving my students the instrument care supplies they need to keep learning, growing, and performing with confidence. Items like reeds, valve oil, cork grease, and cleaning supplies may seem small, but they play a huge role in helping students succeed and ensuring their instruments stay in great playing condition. Knowing that people they have never met believe in them is a powerful lesson in itself.”
— Mr. Cook (Middle School Band Director) from Sulphur, Louisiana
"Math comes alive when students can see, touch, and explore concepts with their own hands. In our classroom, hands-on math manipulatives will provide students with meaningful opportunities to build a deeper understanding of important mathematical concepts such as place value, fractions, geometry, multiplication, division, and problem-solving. ”
— Ms. Allen (First Grade Teacher) from Port Saint Lucie, Florida
"My students play soccer every day at recess, but unfortunately we do not have soccer goals. Due to the age and high usage of the equipment, our previous goals were destroyed. This new equipment can be stored safely, which will increase its lifespan. This equipment is not just wanted; it is needed and will be used daily!”
— Mr. Harris (High School PE Coach) from Dallas, Texas
How it works.
1. Donors make a pledge to contribute $5 weekly.
2. Village purchases classroom supplies requested by teachers on platforms like DonorsChoose.
3. Teachers document the impact, and donors receive a weekly summary report.
4. On average, Village can reach over 800 students with a donor’s pledge over one year.
